Weaponized Consensus by the Collective Establishes Counterfeit Premises to Control Contrived Contingencies<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/header>\n

Many years ago I read a book entitled \u201cPeople of the Lie\u201d<\/em><\/a>\u00a0 written by Scott Peck, an American psychiatrist.\u00a0 It was a fascinating analytic study of malignant narcissism and deceit. I came away from the book with an understanding that a very significant percentage, if not the majority, of people in the world are not decent.<\/p>\n

Other conceptualizations presented by Peck in \u201cPeople of the Lie\u201d<\/em><\/a> included disguise<\/em> as a main motive of evil, <\/em>along with descriptions of people assessed as such to being self-deluded, as projecting their own actions onto others, as utilizing the pretense of love<\/em> to actually hate<\/em>, and as possessing an inherent intolerance to withstand criticism.\u00a0 The author further identified evil as the opposition to life; even acknowledging the word \u201cevil\u201d<\/em> as<\/em> \u201clive\u201d <\/em>spelled backwards.\u00a0 Dr. Peck also claimed evil could be measured by its consistency and conceded that decent individuals have difficulty in cognitively processing the concept:<\/p>\n

[Erich] Fromm saw the genesis of human evil as a developmental process; we are not created evil or forced to be evil, but we become evil slowly over time through a long series of choices.<\/p>\n

When confronted by evil, the wisest and most secure adult will usually experience confusion.
\n\u2013 Peck, Scott. \u00a0(1983, 1988). \u201cPeople of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil\u201d; Century Hutchinson.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Peck also illustrated evil as more than the mere absence of good<\/em> but, instead, as being overtly hateful and destructive. In other words, evil can manifest either by contingent circumstance or design.\u00a0 More often than not, however, it is the latter; evil happens on purpose. Furthermore, although the banality of evil is evident throughout history, it often materializes in the cult of<\/em>personality<\/em>; or, stated another way, institutionalized<\/em> by way of The<\/em> Collective.<\/em><\/p>\n
