The system\u00a0will start\u00a0on Sunday\u00a0night\u00a0and continue into Monday. Snow totals\u00a0are forecasted to bring 2-8\u2033 for parts of the Northeast<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(shown below).\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Screen-Shot-2017-12-24-at-7.18.58-AM.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39134\" src=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Screen-Shot-2017-12-24-at-7.18.58-AM.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vallee discusses the risks associated with the storm, along with more details into the timing of this system.<\/p>\n<div class=\"max-width-video-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"fluid-width-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"fitvid207819\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/26MaRW8vfPw\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson, confirms Vallee\u2019s\u00a0forecast and said, there will be <em><strong>\u201cenough snow to shovel and plow is likely from western and northern Pennsylvania and southern Ontario to Maine, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/accuweather.brightspotcdn.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39137\" src=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/accuweather.brightspotcdn.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are the highways that could be heavily impacted by the storm include Interstate 70, I-76, I-78, I-80, I-81, I-84, I-86, I-87, I-88, I-89, I-90, I-91, I-93, I-95,\u00a0and I-390.\u00a0AccuWeather\u2019s\u00a0team expects delays at airports in\u00a0Pittsburgh, New York City, and Boston.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the National Weather Service has<strong> issued a\u00a0deluge of winter weather advisories and warnings for the Northeast <em>(as of 12-24)<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2017-12-24_08-02-13.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39139\" src=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2017-12-24_08-02-13.png\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) provides an animated Gif depicting the trajectory of the system with the different types of precipitation probabilities.<a href=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/allfcsts_loop_ndfd.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-39140\" src=\"https:\/\/stockboardasset.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/allfcsts_loop_ndfd.gif\" \/><\/a>Accuweather sheds more color on the storm:<\/p>\n<div>\n<blockquote><p>From just north and east of Philadelphia to New York City, Providence, Rhode Island, and New Bedford, Massachusetts, just enough snow may fall to cover the ground, just in time for a White Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>Farther south and west from Atlantic City, New Jersey to Baltimore and Salisbury, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., little or no snow is likely.
