{"id":27850,"date":"2017-11-11T09:38:38","date_gmt":"2017-11-11T14:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=27850"},"modified":"2017-11-11T09:38:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-11T14:38:38","slug":"the-end-of-the-end-of-history-u-s-mid-east-policys-fork-in-the-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=27850","title":{"rendered":"The End of \u201cThe End of History\u201d \u2013 U.S. Mid-East Policy\u2019s Fork in the\u00a0Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<h3 class=\"entry-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tomluongo.me\/2017\/11\/10\/the-end-of-the-end-of-history-u-s-mid-east-policys-fork-in-the-road\/\">The End of \u201cThe End of History\u201d \u2013 U.S. Mid-East Policy\u2019s Fork in the\u00a0Road<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>In 1989 Francis Fukayama declared that we had reached \u201cThe End of History.\u201d \u00a0Democracy as a form of government would, in fact, be the end of the evolution of human interaction.\u00a0 The West had triumphed and that the rest was \u2018just a chase scene,\u2019 to borrow a phrase from Neal Stephenson\u2019s brilliant dystopian novel \u201cSnow Crash.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But, this past week\u2019s events in the Middle East tell me that autocracy has replaced democracy and the trans-national parliamentary system of the European Union that Fukayama championed in his 2007 article\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_End_of_History_and_the_Last_Man#cite_note-5\">in The Guardian.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The EU no longer practices representative Democracy today.\u00a0 Diktats come down from unelected technocrats in Brussels. They are wholly-owned by stateless rent-seeking oligarchs (i.e.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/humansarefree.com\/2017\/11\/list-of-soros-names-226-meps-in-europe.html\">George Soros<\/a>). Everyone in and around the EU is expected to obey or face tanks in the streets (Spain) or endless legal entanglements from captured international courts (Poland).<\/p>\n<p>If you circumvent the rules, the EU will change them to suit its masters\u2019 needs.\u00a0 Just look at any proposed Russian pipeline into Europe over the past five years.<\/p>\n<p>In the U.S. we have been subjected to the worst form of operant conditioning by an unelected Deep State and its quisling media for a year.
