Gerald Celente Warns Of 2018 Recession: \u201cWe\u2019ve Never Seen One Like This Before\u201d<\/a><\/h3>\n

Trend forecaster Gerald Celente<\/a>, who warned investors of the collapse of 2008 just weeks before the markets buckled, has issued a new\u00a0 recession warning for 2018 in his latest interview with Greg Hunter of USA Watchdog<\/a>. But this time, says Celente, it\u2019s going to be a different kind of scenario:<\/p>\n

All the investment is at the top\u2026 and the top is the one that\u2019s going to fall\u2026<\/strong> and when they fall, the bottom will feel it but more psychologically than in their pocket\u2026 be cause it\u2019s the \u201cBigs\u201d that are going to fall\u2026<\/p>\n

You look at the tops in the condominium market, in the housing market with houses over $1.5 million\u2026 that market is slowing down dramatically\u2026 you go into\u00a0the rich retail sectors around the country\u2026 Chicago, New York, San Francisco\u2026 you see a lot of For Rent signs\u2026 because the big multinationals that used to be there that are no longer making the money at the top that they were, are closing down\u2026 the rents are so high that they can\u2019t fill them up with the average retailer\u2026 so we\u2019re seeing the pressure from the top falling already\u2026<\/p>\n

We\u2019re calling this a \u201cStage 1 Recession.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s our top trend for 2018\u2026 we\u2019ve never seen one like this before\u2026 so it\u2019s going to start melting down from the top.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How far down will it go?<\/p>\n

We\u2019re looking for a 10% correction in the markets\u2026 we\u2019re not looking for a crash at this point\u2026 it depends how far it melts.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
