Mind refreshed from what sounds like a wonderful honeymoon and having had the time to read some books outside his\u00a0<em>\u201ccomfort zone\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he has come to the conclusion that we are on the verge of \u00a0a\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cmajor financial crisis, if not later this year, then by the end of 2018 at the latest.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/ggc-mauldin-images.s3.amazonaws.com\/uploads\/newsletters\/170709-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"682\" height=\"480\" \/><strong>Source:\u00a0<em>Financial Times<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mauldin is\u00a0a New York Times bestselling author\u00a0and respected investment expert and his excellent analysis concludes with advice\u00a0to\u00a0<strong>prepare urgently<\/strong>\u00a0for the\u00a0<strong>financial\u00a0<em>\u201ccrisis of historic proportions\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>which is<strong><em>\u00a0\u201conce again bearing down on us\u201d<\/em>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cYou and I can\u2019t control whether banks are ready, but we can control whether we are ready. I am working on a number of fronts to help you. My brief time away convinced me beyond any doubt that a crisis of historic proportions is once again bearing down on us. Indeed up until now his central thesis was that we were in the<strong>\u00a0\u201cmuddle through economy\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and that the U.S. economy and global economy would \u201cmuddle\u201d along and we would avoid a financial crisis.
