5 Gray Man secrets I learned as a surveillance operative<\/a><\/h3>\n

\"5<\/a>One of the questions I get fairly often is \u201cwhat is the gray man,\u201d and rightly so. It\u2019s a concept that most people have a vague idea about, if any idea at all, since pretty much all they\u2019ve been exposed to is maybe reading\u00a0The US Army\u2019s book on Human Intelligence Collector Operations<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 or what they\u2019ve seen in movies (which is pretty terrible).<\/div>\n

Luckily, this\u00a0just\u00a0happens to be something I\u2019m very familiar with, having both been involved in real-world operations on source operations and surveillance teams\u00a0as well as\u00a0teaching agents in both classroom and field exercises (not to mention the crap ton of training I did, compliments of the government), so I\u2019ll break down the basics for you as far as I understand the concept.
