Isn\u2019t it ironic how the mainstream media has the nerve to lecture everyone else about \u201cfake news\u201d when they are the primary source of fake news on a consistent basis stretching back years?<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Fake news stories and fake narratives put out by the mainstream media have resulted in deaths, destruction and people\u2019s lives being ruined.<\/p>\n

The most harmful fake news is routinely published by the mainstream media. They are the main progenitors of fake news.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The fake news that Saddam Hussein had\u00a0weapons of mass destruction<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and that\u00a0Iraq was involved in 9\/11<\/a><\/strong>, dutifully regurgitated without question by the mainstream media, resulted in hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis, thousands of dead and injured U.S. troops, and the destabilization of an entire continent.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u2013 The fake news that the\u00a0rebels in Syria were\u00a0\u201cmoderates\u201d<\/a><\/strong>who did not have jihadist sympathies and should be supported led to the destruction of Syria, Libya and the rise of ISIS.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The fake news narrative that the media was balanced in its coverage of the presidential election was completely obliterated when Wikileaks emails revealed that countless mainstream media reporters were\u00a0in bed with the Clinton campaign<\/strong><\/a>, feeding them\u00a0debate questions<\/a>\u00a0beforehand and conspiring with Hillary\u2019s staff to\u00a0portray her in a positive light<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The fake news that\u00a0George Zimmerman<\/strong>\u00a0was obsessed with Trayvon Martin\u2019s race before the altercation that led to Martin\u2019s death was accomplished by means of\u00a0NBC deceptively editing an audio tape<\/strong><\/a>. This incident stoked racial tensions across the country and laid the groundwork for the violent \u2018Black Lives Matter\u2019 movement that was to follow.<\/p>\n
