{"id":21955,"date":"2016-10-08T15:37:43","date_gmt":"2016-10-08T20:37:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=21955"},"modified":"2016-10-08T15:42:00","modified_gmt":"2016-10-08T20:42:00","slug":"21955","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=21955","title":{"rendered":"Doomed to Failure"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"art-postmetadataheader\">\n<h3 class=\"art-postheader\"><a title=\"Permanent Link to Doomed to Failure\" href=\"http:\/\/www.acting-man.com\/?p=46900\" rel=\"bookmark\">Doomed to Failure\u00a0<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"art-postheadericons art-metadata-icons\"><strong>Larded Up and Larded Over<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"art-postcontent\">\n<p>We\u2019ve been waiting for the U.S. economy to reach escape velocity for the last six years.\u00a0 What we mean is we\u2019ve been waiting for the economy to finally become self-stimulating and no longer require monetary or fiscal stimulus to keep it from stalling out.\u00a0 Unfortunately, this may not be possible the way things are going.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-46903\" src=\"http:\/\/www.acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2016\/10\/Fischers.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2016\/10\/Fischers.jpg 570x, http:\/\/www.acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2016\/10\/Fischers-230x300.jpg 230x\" alt=\"fischers\" width=\"345\" height=\"450\" \/>As\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mg-A63tM-1c\">Milton Jones<\/a>\u00a0once revealed: \u201c<em>A month before he died, my grandfather covered his back in lard. After that, he went downhill quickly<\/em>\u201d (his\u00a0<em>other<\/em>\u00a0grandfather drowned in a bowl of cheerios).
