It is a discussion of how we the people are fundamentally short-changed by a media who too often let their unexamined prejudices of what constitutes &#8220;good governance&#8221; colour the way they report the federal parliament.<\/p>\n<p style=\"word-wrap: break-word; line-height: 1.3334; font-size: 1.25em; padding: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1em 0px;\">Rundle argues that press gallery journalists have a basic distrust of small parties and independents.
