When an animal catches rabies, in the end stages, it manifest bizarre, aggressive behavior. A normally shy raccoon will charge a human, growling and frothing at the mouth.\"rabid<\/a><\/p>\n

There is only one treatment for a rabid raccoon.<\/p>\n

How about humans afflicted with the disease called \u201cenvironmentalism\u201d?<\/p>\n

It is a form of rabies \u2013 and much more\u00a0dangerous.<\/p>\n

California Assemblywoman Autumn Burke, for instance. This \u201cenvironmentalist\u201d (what\u2019s the\u00a0credential<\/em>, exactly?) is pushing\u00a0legislation<\/a>\u00a0that would require 15 percent of all new cars sold in California be \u201cemissions free\u201d by model year 2025.<\/p>\n

This means electric cars, as only electric cars qualify as \u201cemissions-free\u201d\u2026 notwithstanding that they also most definitely produce emissions.<\/p>\n

Just not at the tailpipe.\"burke\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This also means catastrophe for the car industry \u2013 for car buyers. For buyers of cars that\u00a0aren\u2019t<\/em>\u00a0electric cars.<\/p>\n

The price of which will skyrocket \u2013 in order to offset the losses imposed on car companies forced to manufacture and then\u00a0give away<\/em>\u00a0vast fleets of electric cars\u00a0in order to be allowed to sell any cars at all.<\/p>\n

Electric cars only being\u00a0\u201csalable\u201d when subsidized or\u00a0\u201csold\u201d at a loss.<\/p>\n

In the past, there was a dodge.<\/p>\n

A con, actually.\"carbon<\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the one that helped make the rent-seeking Andrew Carnegie of our time, Elon Musk \u2013 purveyor of the Tesla electric car \u2013 a very wealthy man. He sells\u00a0<\/span>carbon credits<\/em>to\u00a0other car companies. These credits\u00a0serve as flim-flam-than-you-ma\u2019am proxies for\u00a0<\/span>not<\/em>building electric cars. GM, for instance, avoids wasting money and time designing, manufacturing \u00a0and then attempting to sell (at a loss) an electric Edsel (like the \u201990s-era EV1) by\u00a0purchasing carbon credits from Elon for the\u00a0<\/span>tailpip<\/em>e emissions not produced by the cars\u00a0<\/span>he<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>makes. In order to offset the tailpipe emissions of the cars GM makes.<\/p>\n
