It Won\u2019t Be Long Now\u2014-The End Game Of Central Banking Is Nigh<\/a><\/h3>\n

As I previously indicated,\u00a0the book\u00a0is\u00a0an exploration of how 30 years of Bubble Finance policies at the Fed, feckless interventions abroad and mushrooming Big government and debt\u00a0at home have brought America to its current ruinous condition.<\/p>\n

In this context, it\u00a0delves into the good and bad of the Trump campaign and platform, while, to use a spoiler alert, praising it with faint damn!<\/p>\n

As Contra Corner readers recognize the only consistent way forward for America at this late stage of the\u00a0game\u00a0is a return to\u00a0free markets, fiscal rectitude, sound money, constitutional liberty, non-intervention abroad, minimalist government at home and decentralized political rule.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, that is not about to happen any time soon\u2014\u2013even if by some miracle Donald Trump is elected President.<\/p>\n

But what the book does claim is that the tide is turning against the failed Wall Street\/Washington bipartisan consensus.\u00a0I call this insurrection the\u00a0\u201crevolt of the rubes\u201d in\u00a0Flyover America.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0uprising against the rule of the financial and political elites\u00a0has\u00a0counterparts abroad among those\u00a0who voted for Brexit\u00a0in the UK,\u00a0against\u00a0Merkel in the recent German elections in her home state, and among the growing\u00a0tide of anti-Brussels sentiment reflected in polls throughout the EC.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, the political upheaval\u00a0now underway is largely an inchoate reaction to the policy failures and arrogant pretensions of the establishment rulers. Like Donald Trump himself, it does not reflect a coherent programmatic alternative.<\/p>\n

But my contention is that\u00a0liberation from\u00a0our current ruinous policy regime has to start somewhere\u2014and that\u2019s why the Trump candidacy is so important. He represents a raw insurgency of attack, derision, impertinence and repudiation.<\/p>\n
