And by the week, the\u00a0<strong>shelves would be empty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hospitals, pharmacies, factories,<\/strong>\u00a0and many other businesses also get several deliveries a day, and they\u2019d be running out of stuff\u00a0<strong>the first day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And the second day, there\u2019s be\u00a0<strong>panic and hoarding<\/strong>. And restaurants, pharmacies would close. ATM\u2019s\u00a0<strong>would be out of money<\/strong>. Construction would stop. There\u2019d be increasing layoffs. Increasing enormous amounts of trash not getting picked up,\u00a0<strong>685,000 tons a day<\/strong>. Service stations would be closed. Very few people would be working.
