I think it\u2019s insane,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.opb.org\/news\/series\/oil-trains\/oil-sheen-slick-found-columbia-river-mosier-train-derailment\/\" target=\"_blank\">Appleton\u00a0said<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019ve been very hesitant to take a side up to now, but with this incident, and with all due respect to the wonderful people that I\u2019ve met at Union Pacific, shareholder value doesn\u2019t outweigh the lives and happiness of\u00a0our\u00a0community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a familiar story to those following the Bakken oil \u201cbomb train\u201d saga \u2014\u00a0luck.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"dquo\">\u201c<\/span>If I had been there another second, it\u2019d probably have killed me,\u201d Bounds said. \u201cGlass was flying everywhere behind me. The walls were caving in. I hadn\u2019t run like that in\u00a0years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was Morris Bounds describing to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spokesman.com\/stories\/2015\/feb\/24\/oil-train-crash-survivor-had-a-second-to-look-and\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Spokesman Review<\/a>\u00a0how he barely escaped the derailing Bakken oil train that destroyed his home in Mount Carbon, West Virginia in February 2015. He literally saw the train derailing and ran out his front door as the train wiped out his house behind\u00a0him.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t get much luckier than Morris Bounds.
