There is much about French culture that is indeed admirable and admired the world over \u2013 and it obviously doesn\u2019t require bureaucratic \u201cprotection\u201d. That is a turn-off at best.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding: 0px; margin: 12px 0px 12px 0px;\">So we are not surprised to learn that the French government is in ever greater hysterics over the success of US based internet companies. \u201cThere ought to be a law\u201d, and very likely there\u00a0<em>will<\/em>\u00a0be a law \u2013 French consumers and their preferences be damned.
