Earlier today, I published a post titled\u00a0Americans Have Been Turned Into Peasants \u2013 It\u2019s Time to Fight Back<\/a><\/strong>. In the hours since, I came across an article in the\u00a0Washington Post<\/em>\u00a0which\u00a0offers\u00a0some additional details and graphics on\u00a0the subject.<\/p>\n

Here are a few excerpts from the piece titled,\u00a02015 Was a Terrible Year for the Common Working Man<\/a>:<\/p>\n

By at least one measure, inequality among working men\u00a0has grown\u00a0for decades. But, in 2015, it accelerated:\u00a0The wage gap among men\u00a0saw its largest single-year increase on record.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Top earners \u2014 men who made more than 95 percent of their peers \u2014 saw wages last year rise by\u00a09.9 percent, according to an analysis of federal data. Men in the middle \u2014 with earnings higher than half their peers \u2014 saw a much-smaller 2.6 percent increase.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Since 1973, wages among men in the 50th percentile have fallen a total 4.6 percent. Wages for men in the 95th percentile, meanwhile, are up 51.4 percent.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
