The gridlock of survivors trying to get out, or get their hands on assets.<\/p>\n<p>Increasingly, the Pentagon is looking at the likelihood \u2013 perhaps the inevitability \u2013 of war\/conflict inside of a destabilized or decimated megacity urban center like New York.<\/p>\n<p>According to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sciencetech\/article-3495596\/Could-America-s-major-war-MEGACITY-Pentagon-bosses-call-hi-tech-help-increasingly-likely-battles-giant-cities-world.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Daily Mail<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>The Pentagon is calling for help from technological innovators to take on the future of warfare.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In the program titled \u2018Thunderstorm Spiral,\u2019 the US government solicits demonstrations to tackle the challenges of megacities and underground environments,<\/strong>\u00a0which will become increasingly prevalent as populations continue to grow.<\/p>\n<p>[\u2026]<\/p>\n<p><strong>A megacity is defined as a city with more than 10 million residents.
