{"id":18672,"date":"2016-03-09T13:32:46","date_gmt":"2016-03-09T18:32:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=18672"},"modified":"2016-03-09T13:33:01","modified_gmt":"2016-03-09T18:33:01","slug":"advice-for-the-newly-awakened-and-overwhelmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=18672","title":{"rendered":"Advice For The Newly Awakened And Overwhelmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"entry-title\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesurvivalistblog.net\/advice-newly-awakened-overwhelmed\/\" target=\"_blank\">Advice For The Newly Awakened And Overwhelmed<\/a><\/h3>\n<div class=\"post-info\">There are many aspects of personal preparedness that make sense, and I know firsthand that once you take a trip down the rabbit hole, the path to preparedness can be daunting at best, if not completely overwhelming.\u00a0 To this overwhelming state of mind, I wish to remind everyone that you must walk before you can run.\u00a0 I know it sounds obvious, but once you start \u201cwaking up\u201d to the real world we find ourselves in many are drawn into panic because there is so much to do and seemingly so little time.<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Where to start?\u00a0 What\u2019s most important?\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesurvivalistblog.net\/bug-out-bag-contents-lists-and-bugging-out\/\">Bug out bags<\/a>?\u00a0 Food storage?\u00a0 Water purification? HAM radio?
