You certainly won\u2019t hear about it in the mainstream press.<\/p>\n<p><u>What\u2019s coming at you is a historic event<\/u>. It\u2019s something our grandchildren will hear stories about&#8230;much like the Great Depression or the Cold War.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s coming could send the price of gold much higher in the coming years&#8230;and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.caseyresearch.com\/go\/uw37h-2\/MAN\" target=\"_blank\">hand gold stock owners 500%+ gains<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you know what\u2019s coming, it could mean the difference between having lots of free cash in retirement or barely getting by.<\/p>\n<p>To understand the gravity of this moment, let\u2019s cover one of the most bizarre ideas in the world&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><u>negative interest rates<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>In a normal world, your bank pays you interest on your savings. It takes your money, pools it with other people\u2019s money and loans it out.<\/p>\n<p>The bank makes money by paying out less in interest on your deposit than it earns in interest from borrowers.<\/p>\n<p>For example, it might pay out 3% to depositors while earning 6% from borrowers.<\/p>\n<p>This is how it has worked for decades.<\/p>\n<p>Negative interest rates turn your \u201cnormal\u201d bank account upside down.<\/p>\n<p>Negative interest rates could only exist in a crazy world where idiot politicians are in control.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, that\u2019s just what we\u2019re dealing with right now.<\/p>\n<p>Politicians all over the world are ordering banks to charge\u00a0<u>depositors<\/u>(you) a fee for storing cash.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a perversion of saving. It\u2019s a perversion of capitalism.
