Here\u2019s What To Do About Water: \u201cSolution With Minimal Effort\u201d<\/a><\/h3>\n<div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-28017\" src=\"http:\/\/shtfplan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/water-rights-montana.jpg\" alt=\"water-rights-montana\" width=\"480\" height=\"259\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no denying that water is among your most critical assets.<\/p>\n<p>But going off grid, you won\u2019t find it automatically ready and on tap unless you\u2019ve set up one kind of system or another.<\/p>\n<p>In the most obvious of ways, you cannot survive without water \u2013 but\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.shtfplan.com\/headline-news\/worst-mistakes-to-avoid-when-going-off-grid-we-wish-wed-known_01082016\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>did you think ahead<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0about where to get it, and how to store and transport it?<\/p>\n<p>Especially if you are just starting out with your off grid home or survival shelter, securing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/TwaloQ\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>potable water for your most basic needs<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0may be very difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Water is quite heavy, and hence, any large containers will be very difficult to carry or transport if you don\u2019t think ahead.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AMH653ufpug?version=3&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;autohide=2&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" width=\"480\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AMH653ufpug\" target=\"_blank\">couple addressed their solutions<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0to dealing with water while living off grid in their RV for the first year:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>At the time of posting this video, we\u2019ve been living in an RV on our land for just over four months. We arrived on our property in September of 2015 and had to get to work quickly to prepare for winter.\u00a0<strong>This entailed installing our septic system, getting our travel trailer protected from the elements, and finding a way to keep things from freezing as we don\u2019t have access to power and don\u2019t run our generator non-stop.<\/strong>\u00a0Getting to our land and getting situated wasn\u2019t cheap\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Needless to say, we weren\u2019t eager to drop thousands of dollars on a well at this point in the game.<\/strong>\u00a0We did, however, come up with a solution that works for us with minimal efforts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We know lots of you have your own ideas on alternative solutions such as IBC tanks, cisterns, water barrels, etc.<\/strong>\u00a0We thought through many of these things and in the blog post, covered why we didn\u2019t use each one.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8230;click on the above link to read the rest of the article&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Going Off Grid?
