Arabia And Turkey Drop Hints That An Invasion Of Syria Is Imminent<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

\"World<\/a>As you read this article, Turkish forces are massing along the border with Syria, and the largest \u201cmilitary exercises\u201d in the history of the Middle East are being held in northern Saudi Arabia.\u00a0 The Saudis are publicly warning that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad \u201cwill be removed by force\u201d if a political solution cannot be found, and Turkey is claiming that it may have to establish a \u201csafe zone\u201d in northern Syria \u201cfor humanitarian purposes\u201d.\u00a0 Saudi Arabia, Turkey and their Sunni allies have poured massive amounts of money and arms into the conflict in Syria, and now that their Sunni insurgents are on the verge of total defeat, they are trying to come up with a way to justify going in there and doing the job themselves.<\/p>\n

For the Saudis, their focus is on trying to convince everyone that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is an extremely dangerous dictator that must be removed at all costs.\u00a0 The following comes from\u00a0the London Independent<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad\u00a0will be removed by force if\u00a0the peace process fails,\u00a0Saudi Arabia\u2019s Foreign Minister has said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBashar al-Assad will leave \u2013 have no doubt about it<\/strong>,\u201d Saudi Arabia\u2019s Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir\u00a0told CNN<\/a>. \u201cHe will either leave by a political process\u00a0or he will be removed by force<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia has\u00a0sent troops and fighter jets<\/a>\u00a0to a Turkish military base ahead of a possible ground invasion of Syria.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So precisely who will be doing the \u201cremoving\u201d if force is necessary?<\/p>\n
