Don\u2019t ask.<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-meta\">Are you wishing you could be at Davos, Switzerland this week, taking in the stimulating and deeply insightful discussions on the theme \u201cThe Fourth Industrial Revolution\u201d? If so, reading the pre-conference book of the same name may leave you reassured that you aren\u2019t actually missing much.<\/div>\n<p>Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, released his Kindle book\u00a0<em>The Fourth Industrial Revolution<\/em>\u00a0just a few days ago, providing a free copy to Davos attendees. (That way they needn\u2019t stretch their expense accounts to cover the $9.91 Kindle fee that the rest of us must pay.)<\/p>\n<p>Schwab has doctorates in economics and engineering, plus a master\u2019s in public administration from Harvard. And he says that\u00a0<em>The Fourth Industrial Revolution<\/em>\u00a0is \u201ca crowd-sourced book, the product of the collective enlightened wisdom of the Forum\u2019s communities.\u201d If credentials alone would create a good book, this would be a humdinger.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/Fourth-Industrial-Revolution-Klaus-Schwab-ebook\/dp\/B01AIT6SZ8\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1453344847&amp;sr=8-1&amp;keywords=klaus+schwab\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-604\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-604\" src=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/anoutsidechance.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Schwab-book-cover-400.jpg?resize=400%2C636\" alt=\"Schwab book cover 400\" width=\"400\" height=\"636\" \/><\/a>What is the Fourth Industrial Revolution? In Schwab\u2019s words,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>today we are at the beginning of a fourth industrial revolution. It began at the turn of this century and builds on the digital revolution.
