No one from Loblaw, the chain which owns Atlantic Superstore, was available to comment Saturday.<\/p>\n

Dominion grocery stores, also owned by Loblaw,\u00a0posted similar signs<\/a>\u00a0in Newfoundland this week.<\/p>\n

The price of groceries in Canada has risen by 4.1 per cent in the last year \u2014\u00a0faster than inflation<\/a>, according to a recent\u00a0food price forecast by the University of Guelph<\/a>.<\/p>\n
