While not all major shocks to the system will be devastating, when the right one comes along, the outcome may be dramatic.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We can see how fragile the U.S. is now by considering just four tendencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Destruction of farms and reliable food source<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Weak economic system<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Americans increasingly on mind-altering drugs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Morals in decline<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Gerran\u2019s numbers, less than 5 million people are in a position to feed themselves with the SHTF.
