Sad but true, and the\u00a0ongoing dramatic narrative of the interplay between engineered boom and engineered bust\u00a0is a chief psychological tool in sustaining the popular belief\u00a0that\u00a0<strong><em>this<\/em>\u00a0monetary reality\u00a0as\u00a0<em>the only<\/em>\u00a0monetary reality possible.<\/strong>\u00a0The truth, however, is that as long as\u00a0<em>this economic reality<\/em>\u00a0is the\u00a0reality then we will be slaves to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wakingtimes.com\/2013\/04\/15\/usury-the-root-of-all-evil\/\" target=\"_blank\">debt economics<\/a>, and the pursuit of endless growth is certain to consume\u00a0everything on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that the task of migrating an entire civilization from one economic system to another is so enormous that as individuals we don\u2019t have\u00a0to feel encumbered by the pressure of having to come up with<em><strong>\u00a0the\u00a0one and only solution\u00a0to save all of human civilization<\/strong><\/em>. We can instead be empowered by the knowledge that any meaningful adjustment we make in our personal lives is a contribution to the future realization of a greater shift for the better, sometime in the future. Our role is merely to be the trim tabs, and when enough momentum builds, watch the ship change its course.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">\u201cSomething hit me very hard once, thinking about what one little man could do.
