{"id":12209,"date":"2015-09-13T09:06:11","date_gmt":"2015-09-13T14:06:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=12209"},"modified":"2015-09-13T09:06:11","modified_gmt":"2015-09-13T14:06:11","slug":"lord-of-the-flies-dystopia-is-arising","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/olduvai.ca\/?p=12209","title":{"rendered":"Lord of the Flies: Dystopia is Arising"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/investmentresearchdynamics.com\/lord-of-the-flies-dytopia-is-arriving\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lord of the Flies: Dystopia is Arising<\/a><\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Paper money eventually returns to its intrinsic value \u2013 zero<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u2013 Voltaire<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I was driving around Denver yesterday doing my \u201cboots on the ground\u201d due diligence scouting of the local housing market. \u00a0I continue to see some \u201csold\u201d and \u201cunder contract\u201d signs but I\u2019m seeing a pile-up forming in new \u201cfor sale,\u201d\u00a0\u201cprice reduced,\u201d and \u201cfor rent\u201d signs. \u00a0 The traffic update on the sports radio reported a back-up at an intersection in Denver caused by a fist-fight that had broken out between two drivers. \u00a0This country is sliding back into neanderthal times.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. economic system is slipping into dystopia and the Government\/Fed is doing everything it can to try and prevent the process. \u00a0The two most obvious signs of this are the perpetual market interventions by the PPT to prevent a stock market dump and the relentless propaganda flowing through the mainstream media which originates from the policy-implementing elitists (business and political). \u00a0<em>Both<\/em>\u00a0efforts are insidious attempts to force control over our system<\/p>\n<p>Overnight the S&amp;P 500 e-mini futures were halted twice. \u00a0 The SPX mini is the Fed\u2019s choice intervention tool because it can direct the market with minimal capital requirements. \u00a0The e-mini is hyper-sensitive to big orders and tends to lead the big SPX directionally because of this. \u00a0\u00a0The emini trading was halted after a sudden plunge in the futures at 5:51 a.m. EST, after which a massive buy order (the PPT) hit the tape and spiked the eminis straight up.
