By Friday, August 21, the market was down\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/theeconomiccollapseblog.com\/archives\/we-have-already-witnessed-the-first-1300-points-of-the-stock-market-crash-of-2015\" target=\"_blank\">more than 1300 points<\/a>. Over the course of two days, it\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/theeconomiccollapseblog.com\/archives\/this-2-day-stock-market-crash-was-larger-than-any-1-day-stock-market-crash-in-u-s-history\" target=\"_blank\">dropped further than any single-day crash in American history<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But it wasn\u2019t just the US stock market that had a bad week.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2015-08-21\/carnage-worst-week-stocks-4-years-vix-soars-most-ever\" target=\"_blank\">According to Zero Hedge<\/a>, markets across the globe are going to heck on a greased slide:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>China\u2019s worst week since July \u2013 closes at 5 month lows<\/li>\n<li>Global Stocks\u2019 worst week since May 2012<\/li>\n<li>US Stocks\u2019 worst week in 4 years<\/li>\n<li>VIX\u2019s biggest weekly rise ever<\/li>\n<li>Crude\u2019s longest losing streak in 29 years<\/li>\n<li>Gold\u2019s best week since January<\/li>\n<li>5Y TSY Yield\u2019s biggest absolute drop in 2 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerohedge.com\/news\/2015-08-18\/23-nations-around-world-where-stock-market-crashes-are-already-happening\" target=\"_blank\">Stock market crashes are taking place concurrently in 23 different countries<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Updated to add:\u00a0<strong>The stock markets of\u00a0Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar<a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/afp-gulf-stocks-plummet-as-oil-prices-plunge-2015-8\" target=\"_blank\">have just crashed<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m no financial expert, but this seems like a collection of very, very bad signs. It\u2019s time to sit up, pay attention, and be prepared to take immediate actions.<\/p>\n<h2>It\u2019s time to pay attention because this could go one of two ways.<\/h2>\n<p><strong>This could just be a tremor before the Big One hits<\/strong>. The economic gurus at the Fed could find another way to kick the can a little bit further down the road, giving you more time to get your personal financial situaion under control. \u00a0Obviously, things just aren\u2019t right, and you can consider this a warning bell.<\/p>\n<div>\n<h2>Or.<\/h2>\n<p><strong>This could be \u201cit\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0If there are no creative, fake-money-from-thin-air remedies left, the market will continue to fall when it opens on Monday. If the market is still dropping, it\u2019s game on.<\/p>\n<h2>Take these immediate steps if the market continues to fall.<\/h2>\n<p>I hate predictions.<\/p>\n<p>I really cringe when people try to make economic predictions or pinpoint specific dates for impending financial disaster.
