Another Big Lie About Ukraine\u2019s War<\/a><\/h3>\n

What follows here, about the current U.S. government\u2019s lying, is banned by all major news sites in the United States, and by most \u2018alternative news\u2019 sites, such as Common Dreams, Alternet, and Truthout (although some of those alt-news sites do issue watered-down reports from Robert Parry and a few other establishment journalists, about related matters):<\/span><\/p>\n

Vladimir Kornilov\u00a0posted to his facebook page on August 15th,<\/span><\/a>\u00a0a terrific question that\u2019s getting increasing attention on other independent websites:<\/span><\/p>\n

I wonder about this: When the army of the DNI\u00a0<\/i>[commonly called Ukraine\u2019s \u2018rebels\u2019]\u00a0are retired Russian\u00a0military, the West immediately writes about \u201cRussian\u00a0aggression\u201d.\u00a0And if retired (believe that retired)\u00a0military mercenaries from the EU are fighting on the\u00a0side of the APU\u00a0<\/i>[commonly called the Ukrainian government], why do the same media not write\u00a0about \u201cthe aggression of the European Union?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s a great question, because it laser-focuses upon a Big Lie in the Western press regarding the civil war in Ukraine: that the Russian army is itself participating in Ukraine\u2019s civil war (not merely providing professional military advisors to a self-arisen civilian army who are protecting their own families from invasions and basically from a U.S.-sponsored\u00a0ethnic cleansing campaign<\/span><\/a>\u00a0by an imposed Ukrainian government in Kiev, which the residents in the separatist region never even had any participation in democratically electing \u2014 and, after the man, for whom\u00a0those residents had actually voted 90%+ in Ukraine\u2019s last genuinely democratic election<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0was thrown out of office in a violent\u00a0February 2014 U.S. coup<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Russian armed forces are not participants in Ukraine\u2019s U.S.-caused civil war: that\u2019s a fact.<\/a><\/span>\u00a0The allegation to the contrary is a U.S.-Ukrainian government lie \u2014 nothing else.<\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. Government is simply trying to fool the public into believing that the Ukrainian government\u2019s bombing that area of the former Ukraine doesn\u2019t cause thousands of the residents there to take up arms against those invaders, and against that government \u2014 the government which calls all of these residents \u2018terrorists.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n
