What\u2019s Really Killing Capitalism<\/strong><\/p>\n

VANCOUVER, Canada \u2013 Hillary is taking the bull by the horns\u2026 and putting the knife between her teeth. She is a \u201ctake-charge\u201d candidate and aims to let us know.<\/p>\n

Yes, earlier his week, she promised to improve capitalism. Now, it\u2019s the climate of planet Earth that has her attention. She\u2019s going to make it better by decreasing carbon emissions \u2013 by force, of course.<\/p>\n

\"Clinton\"Saints preserve us! Now she wants to \u201csave the planet\u201d too. Ironically not even the reds and professional scaremongers are happy with her \u201cclimate change\u201d contortions (as seen in\u00a0the Guardian<\/a>, a hotbed of climate alarmism and a preferred medium of assorted limousine socialists).<\/p>\n

Next week, presumably, she will vanquish death itself.<\/p>\n

But let us turn to the markets. On Tuesday night as the sun set, things were looking up. From Bloomberg:<\/p>\n

U.S. stocks rose, ending their longest losing streak since January, amid better-than-forecast earnings and as Chinese equities pulled back from a selloff.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Whether the rebound continues\u2026 or collapses altogether\u2026 we wait to find out. Unlike Ms. Clinton, we are a slave to God and to the markets; we are not their master.<\/p>\n

As we\u00a0reported on Tuesday<\/a>, Hillary also wants to punish investors who don\u2019t hold on to their positions for long enough. She never mentioned that meddlers like herself largely caused the problem of \u201cshort-termism\u201d in the stock market.<\/p>\n

In a free economy, people choose how long to hold on to their stocks, according to what suits them. Some are investing for generations. Some are retiring soon. Some are traders, looking to profit from short-term moves in the market.<\/p>\n
