Rubber-stamp Greek parliamentarians overwhelming approved transforming the nation into a banker run colony \u2013 \u00a0by a 229 \u2013 64 vote. Six lawmakers abstained.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Coalition partner Independent Greeks leader Panos Kammenos and likeminded party members voted \u201cyes\u201d after rhetorically rejecting Troika terms.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">The vast majority of bailout funding goes to pay bankers and other creditors \u2013 nothing for economic recovery and growth. The price is deeper punishing austerity, greater poverty and unemployment than already, and far more human misery ahead with no end in sight.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Only 32 of SYRIZA\u2019s 149 parliamentarians voted \u201cno\u201d \u2013 including banished Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis, Finance Ministry Secretary General Manos Manousakis, Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafanzanis, Deputy Labor Minister Dimitris Stratoulis and ousted Speaker Zoe Konstantopoulou.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">She called the bailout proposal \u201csocial genocide.\u201d Other austerity opponents denounced it as \u201ca new Versailles Treaty.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Sovereign Greece no longer exists. Troika bandits own its soul. Democracy\u2019s denouement became official in its birthplace.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Meanwhile, police clashed violently with thousands of anti-austerity protesters outside parliament demanding promised relief \u2013 social justice, not sellout.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">Prime Minister Tsipras rubbed salt on the wound he inflicted saying he \u201cdoes not believe in (the) irrational\u201d capitulation plan he demanded and voted for.<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\">He lied claiming he had no choice. Terms were forced on him, he said.
