Funny enough, these surveys revealed approximately\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.keeptalkinggreece.com\/2015\/03\/01\/survey-syriza-42-1-nd-18-3-710-greeks-agree-with-eurogroup-agreement\/\">70% approval of the deal<\/a>offered by the euro-group among the population. No doubt the fact that the insolvency of Greece\u2019s fractionally reserved banking system was recently painfully revealed to depositors after the ECB froze ELA had something to do with this sudden surge in support. Moreover, it is always possible that a majority of Greece\u2019s citizens actually realizes that there is no way around wide-ranging reform.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-38556\" src=\"http:\/\/www.acting-man.com\/blog\/media\/2015\/07\/metron-analysis.jpg\" alt=\"metron-analysis\" width=\"700\" height=\"420\" \/>Recent polls show soaring support for Syriza in spite of Tsipras ignoring the referendum outcome (source:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.keeptalkinggreece.com\/2015\/03\/01\/survey-syriza-42-1-nd-18-3-710-greeks-agree-with-eurogroup-agreement\/\">Keep Talking Greece<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There were 229 \u201cYes\u201d votes, 64 \u201cNo\u201d votes and 6 abstentions. Make of this what you will, but the only parties unanimously voting \u201cNo\u201d were the Stalinist KKE and the Neo-Nazi party \u201cGolden Dawn\u201d. In addition, a greater number of Syriza MPs rebelled than was previously expected (apparently 38 of the 149 Syriza MPs voted \u201cNo\u201d, roughly equivalent to the size of the party\u2019s Marxist Bloc) .
